Perfect Size for Smaller Rooms

If you are short on space but still want to enjoy ping pong, the midsize table is what you need. The Stiga Space Saver is a 2/3 size of a full-size board and (unlike some other midsize tables) also keeps the correct ratio between sides.

This size is just ideal to fit any room, office space or basement you want to play in – while still providing a good game.

No Assembly, Sturdy, Heavy-duty

The delivery is without any problems and quality packaging is being used – many customers reported received a box that was beaten pretty badly but the table didn’t have a scratch.

Good news is that there is no assembly required, you just unfold the legs, attach the included net and you are ready to play. Just a few users complained some of the screws were wobbling and they had to replace them.

Considering the build quality, the table is well designed, fairly heavy but also really sturdy and doesn’t wobble at all.

Good, Consistent Bounce

Let’s talk about the actual playing capabilities now – it uses a 5/8" thick board which is practically the same as the top on full size Stiga tables, just smaller. And users really like it, it plays well, comes with a nice color and surface finish and also offers surprisingly good bounce all over the table.

Of course, if you normally play on a large table, you are going to miss the back part at first – but people get used to it pretty quickly, you just have to use more control. And the game is just as intense as on a full-size.

The net itself is fine, only the posts seem to be pretty cheap and can bend or flex over time. Also it may be a good idea to use a little fabric to prevent them scratching the top when tightened.

Independent Halves, Easy to Store

As similar models, this one also uses the 2-piece design. And thanks to the weight of the parts, the halves stay in place securely after you join them with the clamps.

And all the legs are equipped with a leveler so getting a perfectly flat surface is not a problem, even on a thick carpet.

The legs fold up very easily so you can take the table away or install it again quickly and the storage is a piece of cake as well – the entire table fits in a closet or under the bed, you can even transport it in your car’s backseat.

Last but not the least, you can use the halves as separate multi-purpose tables to play card and board games or even as a dining table. Only the playback mode is missing here as the leg folding system is too basic to enable that.
